Reflection - the agent of change:
For decades the reflective process has been considered a core element of nursing practice that supports the delivery of safe and effective care. Despite this, there are still high profile cases where nursing staff deliver poor care. The session 'Reflection - the agent of change' will explore the impact of embedding reflective practice within the new revalidation process and the potential positive impact this can bring to patients, their families and the nursing profession.

Emotional Resilience:
The NHS is under enormous strain to deliver safe and effective care within the current financial straits. With shortages of nursing staff and an increase demand on the service, providing compassionate care can take a huge toll on individual nursing staff. Our talk on Emotional Resilience will explore how you can take care of your own personal emotional wellbeing so that you can offer compassionate care to your patients

We hope to see you in Birmingham for what promises to be a great event!
